Dutch-Bangla Pack Ltd. opens third production facility

LC Packaging’s production facility Dutch-Bangla Pack Ltd. (DBPL) has completed the build of a third expansion on its factory premises. The new facility is built on top of the existing factory and will increase production with approximately 1 million FIBCs (Big Bags) per year, bringing DBPL’s total outcome to well over 3.2 million FIBCs. The new facility of 4,000 sqm has world class facilities, including a state-of-the-art clean room environment, ensuring that all pollutants are filtered out so the DBPL facility meets the highest standards required to produce FIBCs. The new factory also houses areas for cutting - both heat and ultrasonic, printing, sewing, baling and storage. Building work started in November 2020 and, upon completion, all 1,500 DBPL employees were invited to the opening ceremony, followed by an inauguration programme.
