We proudly announce that we have won the Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) Europe Diamond award on May 30 in Milan, Italy. LC Packaging (LC) was awarded first place in the category Creative Use of Flexo with our beautiful 4 colour print potato jute bag.

95 years’ experience in jute
LC Packaging has been in the jute packaging business since 1923 and we are celebrating our 95th anniversary this month. We are very proud that our continuous commitment, to offer our customers the best custom-made packaging solutions, is being recognized by the FTA.

25 million printed LC jute bags worldwide
Jute is a 100% natural product. It’s characteristics (strong, durable, absorbent, soft and breathable) are ideal for transportation and storage of beautiful agri products such as potatoes, nuts, seeds and cocoa. LC Packaging prints approximately 25 million jute bags per year. The structure of the jute and the fact that each jute bag is individually produced makes the printing process quite challenging. We deliver from stock, with next-day delivery often required. Therefor it is imperative that our printing processes are setup for efficient and fast operation.

Innovative printing technologies
LC Packaging is the only participant in the FTA Diamond Awards 2018 with a flexography design entry on jute material. By using Flexo print LC offers:

  • Excellent printed artwork up to 4 colours per side for a strong product and brand communication
  • High quality prints on challenging materials such as polypropylene and jute
  • High speed printing for fast delivery of bags from stock
  • Water-based inks

LC has invested in highly innovative Flexo printing technologies. Thanks to our 95 years of experience and committed warehouse and production staff, we are able to meet all of our customers’ needs, even during seasonal peak-times.
